Terms

These are the ground rules for the PageMask website and app, in plain language.

The app license

The app is licensed to you, not sold. Apple's standard license agreement for App Store apps applies to the app, and these terms add to it. If the two disagree about the app itself, Apple's agreement wins.

Purchases

Pro is bought through the App Store as a one-time purchase, with an annual option listed next to it. Apple takes the payment, handles refunds under its own rules and lets you restore a purchase on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

You check the output

Redaction suggestions are suggestions. You confirm every box, and you are the one who decides what is safe to send. The app checks its own output, but no automatic check is perfect, so look at the exported file before you share it.

The explain feature can be wrong. It is not legal, medical or financial advice. Check the original document, and ask a qualified person when the decision matters.

Your files

Your documents stay on your phone and belong to you. We never receive them, so we cannot recover them if you delete the app, lose the phone or forget the passcode without a backup. Keep copies of anything you cannot replace.

Using the website

Please do not attack the site, scrape the waitlist or submit other people's email addresses without their consent.

No warranty and limits on liability

The app and site are provided as they are. We work to make them reliable, but we cannot promise they will be free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for the app is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date.

Governing law and contact

The governing law and the legal entity behind PageMask will be filled in by the owner before this page goes live.
